Fringe Biology Recordings is a Seattle, WA based record label specializing in kraut rock, avant rock, experimental, weirdo electronic, outsider, and other unusual music. Music videos are also released on DVD. Current FB Recordings artists include Von Sleight, Rubber Band Banjo, Borg and the Ultimate Seeds, and Mutant Microbes. Older recordings from Rubber Band Banjo, Bocinas, and Brickburner are also available at the FBR website. Tracks from FBR artists have been played on Warren Ellis mixtapes, made into Ninja videos, and been played on the sci-fi podcast Billibub Baddings and numerous radio stations such as Don Campau's No Pigeonholes show and Weirdsville! Web Radio. Several FBR releases are available on CD Baby, iTunes, Napster, eMusic, Amazon, and other digital distribution sites. Selected releases are available at Wall of Sound and Dissonant Plane record shops in Seattle, WA. Currently we are looking to expand our audio and video releases from like-minded artists. We are also looking for artists to contribute an album or track to our upcoming compilation to be given away for free at record stores (so we hope). See the demo policy if interested. |
